Sheffield Steelers warmed up for their upcoming Champions Hockey League campaign with a pair of victories over Aalborg Pirates.

Steelers recorded 4-1 and 5-1 wins against the Danish outfit to send them into Thursday’s game in Sweden against HV71 in bouyant mood.

Cardiff Devils faced the KHL’s Medvescak Zagreb for two pre-season games over the weekend, but the Croatian side proved too strong as they secured 6-0 and 4-1 successes.
