Deeside Dragons claimed their first silverware in over two decades after securing the NIHL North Laidler D2 title.

Adrian Palak and Filip Supa both hit hat-tricks in Dragons’ 10-3 home victory against Hull Jets, and Palak scored another five as the North Wales outfit drew 7-7 at Widnes Wild to clinch top spot.

Stuart Parker bagged both goals for Nottingham Lions in their 2-1 success at Altrincham Aces.

Craig Lutkevitch (2) and Chis Jones (2) topped the scoring for Blackburn Eagles as they boosted their play-off hopes with a 10-3 win on home ice against Coventry Blaze.

Blackburn Hawks maintained their seven-point lead at the top of Moralee D1 after a 7-0 victory at Sutton Sting.

Dean Holland and Ben Richards got the goals for Whitley Warriors as they won 2-1 at Sheffield Spartans.

Telford Tigers NIHL won 8-2 at Sheffield Senators – Adam Taylor (2), Callum Bowley (2) and Joe Aston (2) topped their scoring.

Billingham Stars are still unbeaten in the Northern Cup, but they needed overtime against Solway Sharks to retain their record.

Joe Coulter and Juraj Senko put Sharks 2-0 up, before goals Chris Sykes and Dennis Boström forced the extra session.

Forward James Moss fired home the winner to send Stars to the top of the table.
