Deeside Dragons produced another excellent road performance to record their second victory in NIHL North Moralee D1.

Markus Kankaanranta (2), Filip Supa (2), James Parsons (above) and Scott McKenzie got the goals as Dragons won 6-3 against Solihull Barons.

Harry Harley’s late goal secured a 3-3 draw for Whitley Warriors at home to Telford Tigers NIHL.

Solway Sharks had a mixed weekend in the Northern Cup, losing 5-3 on home ice against Blackburn Hawks, before bouncing back with a 6-5 overtime success at Billingham Stars.

Widnes Wild remain unbeaten in Laidler D2 after an impressive four-point weekend.

Will Barron (3) topped the scoring in their 10-2 win at Hull Jets and Wild followed up with an 8-0 victory at home to Bradford Bulldogs.

Cameron Brownley scored five for Sheffield Senators in their 12-7 home win against the Bulldogs, but Altrincham Aces prevented them from picking up two more points as they sealed an 8-5 home success.

Tom Revesz (2) and Brian Worrall (2) were amongst the Aces’ goalscorers.
