
Solway Sharks completed the NIHL North Moralee D1 treble with victory at the end-of-season play-offs at iceSheffield.
The Sharks booked their place in the final courtesy of a 3-2 overtime success against Solihull Barons – Duncan Speirs grabbed the winning goal.
Billingham Stars progressed from their semi-final tie against Blackburn Hawks after recording a 7-3 win – Daniel Palmebjork (2), Chris Sykes (2), Michael Elder (2) and Jack Watkins got their goals.
Solway claimed the silverware with a 3-1 victory over Billingham – Scott Henderson, Daniel Abercrombie and Juraj Senko (above) were on target for the Dumfries outfit.
Widnes won the Laidler D2 play-off title with a 2-1 win against Sheffield Senators – Shaun Dippnall and Ollie Barron got on the scoresheet for Wild.
The D2 runners-up earned their spot in the final with a 2-0 success against Altrincham Aces, while the Senators triumphed 3-1 against Blackburn Eagles.
