Solway Sharks retained their 100% record in NIHL North Moralee D1 with a 6-3 victory at home to Whitley Warriors.

The North-East outfit bounced back on home ice with a resounding 8-2 success over Blackburn Hawks – DJ Good (2) and Dean Holland (2) led their scoring.

Josh Bruce scored twice for Solihull Barons in their 3-2 home win against Sutton Sting.

Billingham Stars had a tough time of things in the Northern Cup, losing 7-4 at Blackburn and 4-3 at home to Solway.

In D2N, Blackburn Eagles made it nine wins on the spin with a 5-2 road victory at Altrincham Aces. That result completed a disappointing weekend for the Aces who also lost 5-3 at Bradford Bulldogs.

Elliott Knell scored twice for Sheffield Senators in their 4-2 home win against Widnes Wild.

Nottingham forward Ondrej Pniok hit a hat-trick in his side’s 4-1 success at Coventry Blaze NIHL, and the Lions made it a four-point weekend with a 4-0 win at home to Bradford.
