London Raiders have confirmed forward Marek Nahlik has agreed his third season with the NIHL1 South club.

The 33-year-old has enjoyed two prolific years with the Raiders, scoring 75 goals with 52 assists in 79 games.

Raiders’ coach Alan Blyth said: “The decision to bring back Marek to the Gold and Blue for a third season was an easy one for me and Sean (Easton).

“He started last season on fire and had the lamp constantly lit. However an injury-hit second half of the season meant that he could not play to his full.

“I’m sure after a summer’s rest and a good pre-season we will see Marek back looking even fitter and ready to go.”

Promising defender Callum Burnett has also signed for another year with the Raiders.

Streatham IHC have announced Alex Sampford and Dan Rose will both return for a further season with the club.

MK Thunder have added Nidal Phillips and Hallden Barnes-Garner to their roster, while Ben Russell has agreed another year with Peterborough Phantoms.

Brandon Webster has joined Invicta Dynamos from Chelmsford Warriors and Nottingham Panthers’ defender Josh Tetlow has signed for former club Bracknell Bees on a two-way deal.

In D2, Josh Florey has agreed another year with Oxford City Stars, while Invicta Mustangs have added youngster Artyom Gzribovskis to their squad.

Netminder Chico Cole returns for further season with Solent Devils and Chris Beal is back for another campaign with Slough Jets.
