Chelmsford Chieftains extended their lead at the top of NIHL1 South to six points after picking up a pair of victories.

Ross Brears (2) led the scoring in Chieftains’ 6-3 win at MK Thunder, and they followed up with an 8-2 success at home to London Raiders – Billy and Charlie Phillips both scored twice.

Invicta Dynamos kept their title hopes alive with a 6-2 home victory against Solent Devils – Eriks Ozollapa (2) and Steven Osman (2) were amongst the scorers.

Wightlink Raiders had mixed fortunes on home ice, losing 5-4 against Oxford City Stars before bouncing back with a 6-2 win against Bracknell Hornets.

Oxford failed to make it a four-point weekend after slipping to a 3-1 defeat at home to MK Thunder.

Joe Allen hit a hat-trick for Streatham Redskins in their 5-2 D1S Cup win at Solent, while Invicta triumphed 7-2 at London in the South East Cup.

Peterborough Islanders won 5-3 at home to Haringey Racers – Connor Stokes scored three.

Ollie Baldock (2) topped the scoring for Chelmsford Warriors as they recorded a 6-2 win at home to Lee Valley Lions. Swindon Wildcats NIHL lost 6-4 on home ice against Bristol Pitbulls.
