Chelmsford Chieftains moved to the top of NIHL1 South after winning 2-0 at home to Invicta Dynamos.

Ashley Jackson (3) led the scoring for the Dynamos in their 5-3 home victory against Solent Devils.

David Savage grabbed the deciding goal for Streatham IHC as they secured a 2-1 road success at Bracknell Hornets, while Ondrej Pekarik’s late goal sealed a 6-6 draw for Oxford City Stars at London Raiders.

In the D1S Cup, Wightlink Raiders triumphed 5-3 on home ice against the Chieftains – Vaclav Drabek (2) topped their scoring.

Joe Johnston and Sean Scarbrough got the goals for Streatham in their 2-0 home win against London.

Jakub Klima scored twice for MK Thunder in their 6-2 success at Oxford in the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Cup.

Bristol Pitbulls made the perfect start to their D2S campaign with a 4-2 win at Wightlink Buccaneers.

Cardiff Fire also started their season with 3-1 victory at home to Swindon Wildcats NIHL. Peterborough Islanders maintained their 100% record courtesy of a 4-0 victory at Chelmsford Warriors.

Matt Brown scored four for Haringey in their 5-5 D2S Cup draw at Slough Jets, but the Racers followed up with a 4-2 defeat at home to Invicta Mustangs in the league.
