Invicta Dynamos’ faint hopes of mounting a title challenge look to be over after enduring a mixed weekend in NIHL1 South.

Bailey Wootton scored twice in Dynamos’ 4-3 win at London Raiders, but they failed to follow up at Oxford City Stars as the home side recorded a 5-3 success.

Streatham IHC also had an up and down weekend, winning 5-2 at home to MK Thunder before losing out 4-1 at Solent Devils.

London bounced back from their defeat against the Dynamos with a 3-2 victory at MK Thunder.

Peterborough Islanders retained their 100% record in D2S with a 5-2 home win against Haringey Racers – Nathan Pollard (3) topped their scoring.

The Racers ended the weekend on a high note with a 6-1 home victory over Slough Jets – Robin Martinsson (2) was amongst the scorers.

Bristol Pitbulls won 7-4 at home to Swindon Wildcats NIHL, while Lee Valley Lions triumphed 4-3 at Invicta Mustangs.
