London Raiders stayed in touch with the top half of the NIHL1 South table after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Bracknell Hornets.

Sam Roberts (above) weighed in with two goals, before Slavomir Buda’s 48th minute strike decided the contest to keep the Raiders fifth in the standings.

Chelmsford Chieftains still lead the way after a 2-1 home victory over Oxford City Stars – Juraj Huska bagged both goals.

Invicta Dynamos moved up to second after a four-point weekend – winning 5-3 at home to Streatham IHC and 6-4 at MK Thunder.

Streatham bounced back in style with a 9-1 home win against Solent Devils – Sean Scarbrough (4) topped the scoring.

That result completed a miserable weekend for the Devils who also lost 7-6 on home ice against MK Thunder.

In D2S, Dale Jowett and Nathan Pollard both scored twice in Peterborough Islanders’ 7-1 win at home to Slough Jets, while Cardiff Fire recorded a 5-1 home success against Bristol Pitbulls.
