League leaders Chelmsford Chieftains won 2-1 at home to Streatham IHC – Darren Brown and Liam Chong got the goals.

MK Thunder claimed the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Cup after a 7-4 home success against Oxford City Stars.

The visitors’ 5-4 home win over the Hornets on Saturday set up the winner-takes-all showdown in Milton Keynes, but Thunder proved too strong with Jakub Klima (2) and Ross Bowers (2) leading the way for a deserved victory.

In D2S, David Collins’ late goal sealed a 4-3 win for Basingstoke Buffalo at home to Wightlink Buccaneers.

Peterborough Islanders had a mixed weekend in the D2S Cup, winning 9-1 at Swindon Wildcats NIHL before losing 4-3 on home ice against Bristol Pitbulls.

Haringey Racers recorded their first cup success this season with a 9-3 home victory over Slough Jets – Josh Abbott (6) topped their scoring.
