Chelmsford Chieftains took a step closer to the NIHL1 South title after securing a 6-3 victory at home to Solent Devils.

The Essex outfit need just one win from their remianing six games to seal their fourth championship in a row.

Steve Osman (2) and Conor Redmond (2) topped the scoring for Invicta Dynamos as they ran out 6-2 winners at Cardiff Devils NIHL.

Jaroslav Cesky (3), Corey Watkins (2) and Alex Sampford got the goals for Wightlink Raiders in their 6-3 win at home to London Raiders.

Alan Green hit a hat-trick for Oxford City Stars in their 5-3 victory at Bracknell Hornets, and he repeated the feat back on home ice as Stars roared to a 15-5 success in the reverse fixture – Darren Elliott (above) was also amongst the goals with four.

MK Thunder won 3-2 at home to Streatham Redskins, but they failed to follow up at Solent as the Devils sealed a 7-3 victory.

In the South East Cup, Streatham won 4-3 at home to Chelmsford, while Invicta triumphed 7-0 on home ice against London.

Cardiff Fire kept their D2S title hopes on track with a 7-2 win at Wightlink Tigers – Jordan Powell (2) led their scoring.

Ollie Baldock (2) and Stephen Woodford (2) were amongst the scores for Chelmsford Warriors in their 8-2 success at Haringey Racers.

Peterborough Islanders won 4-0 at Lee Valley Lions, while Basingstoke Buffalo eased to a 5-2 home victory against Swindon Wildcats NIHL.

Bristol Pitbulls are through to the semi-final of the D2S Cup after a 5-2 win at Slough Jets.
