Streatham IHC’s hopes of securing the runners-up spot in NIHL1 South were given a boost after a 4-3 home victory over Invicta Dynamos.

Callum Best (above), Chris Cooke, George Norcliffe and Alex Sampford got the goals that moved Streatham three points behind Invicta with two games in hand.

Jarolsav Cesky hit a hat-trick for Oxford City Stars in their 8-1 win at home to MK Thunder and they followed up with a 3-3 draw at Solent Devils.

London Raiders endured a difficult weekend on the road, drawing 3-3 at Bracknell Hornets and losing 5-3 at Chelmsford Chieftains – Cameron Bartlett (2) and Juraj Huska (2) topped the scoring for the champions.

Cardiff Fire are still unbeaten in D2S after recording a 7-1 win at home to Wightlink Buccaneers – Tamias Elias (2) was amongst their scorers.

Connor Stokes (2) and Clint Herring (2) led the way for Peterborough Islanders as they ran out 8-2 winners at Lee Valley Lions.

Invicta Mustangs had a mixed weekend on home ice, losing 5-2 against Haringey Racers before bouncing back with a 6-2 victory over Slough Jets.

Bristol Pitbulls triumphed 10-4 at Swindon Wildcats NIHL – Adrian Smith (2) and Grant Richardson (2) led the scoring.
