Invicta Dynamos had a mixed weekend as they looked to boost their hopes of securing second place in NIHL1 South.

Dynamos fell 7-6 at Oxford City Stars, but they bounced back to win 9-0 at MK Thunder – Eriks Ozollapa (above) scored four.

Wightlink Raiders are now two points behind Dynamos with a game in hand after recording two victories on home ice.

Craig Tribe (2) and Alex Sampford (2) topped the scoring in their 6-2 success over MK Thunder, and Tribe weighed in with another pair in a 10-2 rout against London Raiders.

Champions Chelmsford Chieftains won 12-1 at Bracknell Hornets and they followed up with a 15-0 win in the reverse fixture.

Solent Devils enjoyed two victories on home ice, winning 5-4 against both Streatham Redskins and Oxford.

Redskins completed a miserable weekend by losing 6-5 at home to Cardiff Devils NIHL.

In D2S, Chelmsford Warriors extended their winning run to nine games with a 3-2 success at Peterborough Islanders.

Nathan Pollard (4) and James Pentecost (3) topped the scoring for the Islanders in their 9-3 victory at Invicta Mustangs.

Haringey Racers won 6-4 at Slough Jets, while Swindon Wildcats NIHL triumphed 8-3 at home to Basingstoke Buffalo.
