Paczkowski checks in for Stars

Dundee Stars coach Omar Pacha says the arrival of forward Oliver Paczkowski will help to ease the injuries he has.

The 24-year-old joins the club after three players limped off last weekend, meaning Pacha had to seek reinforcements.

And he was pleased to land the former Cracovia Krakow man, who arrives with recent Champions Hockey League experience.

“Oliver is a determined young man who will be a welcomed addition here in Dundee,” he said. “We’ve taken a few injuries up front of late and Oliver will provide vital cover at a pivotal time in the season.”

Paczkowski is a former team-mate of current Stars player Petr Chaloupka and played over 100 times for the Polish side, including six appearances in the CHL.

He has already arrived in Dundee is expected to make his debut in their home game against Manchester Storm on Saturday, face off 7pm.
