Peterborough Phantoms have confirmed netminders Adam Long (above) and Dan Lane will back-up Janis Auzins next season.

Both players are products of the club’s junior system and Head Coach Slava Koulikov says he’s looking forward to seeing the duo continue their development.

“Both guys are dedicated, hardworking players, that have taken notice and worked on their game with Janis and the rest of the Phantoms team,” he said.

“Dan did fantastic in taking the Islanders to cup final and play-off semi-final, while Adam was called upon last season to step in and showed us all we can trust him in between the pipes as he played very well.”
