Streatham Redskins have added ex-EPL defenseman David Savage to their roster.

The 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the NIHL1 South club, having played over 500 games for Guildford Flames and Bracknell Bees.

During his time with the Flames, the former Streatham junior player won four EPL titles, three EPL Cups and a play-off title. He has also represented Great Britain at U18 and U20 level.

Head Coach Warren Rost said: “David is a top level defenseman and someone I’ve worked with before, so we both know what to expect.

“We’ve been leaking too many goals. Often it’s due to injuries and a depleted squad, but too many times it’s been down to poor decisions.

“David is going to add a lot of experience and as we get to the business end of the season that will make us even stronger.”
