Great Britain will return home with a silver medal from the World Championship (Division 1B) in Zagreb.
GB’s chance of gold and promotion to Division 1A was ended when they were beaten 2-1 by Ukraine.
Croatia’s shoot-out win over Lithuania meant GB finished second in the six-team group, while Lithuania secured the bronze medal.
The hosts finished fourth and Estonia fifth, while Romania were relegated back to Division 2A.
GB were presented with a trophy for second place and their silver medals by Freddie Meredith.
Ben O’Connor has been named as the Defenseman of the Tournament.
O’Connor, who had the most points for a ‘D’ man in the group, finished with eight points (1+7) in five matches and was GB’s leading points-scorer.
He was the tournament’s second-highest points-scorer behind Robert Rooba of Estonia, who finished with four goals and four assists for his eight points in five games.
