Paisley Pirates eased into the semi-final of the SNL play-offs after completing a comfortable 17-2 aggregate victory over North Ayrshire Wild.

The Pirates put the tie beyond doubt in the first leg with a 9-1 road win – Stuart Miller (3) and Marc Crute (2) topped their scoring.

The second leg was an equally one-sided affair as Ian Turley’s team romped to an 8-1 success on home ice – Chris Wilson led the way with a hat-trick.

Dundee Comets are also through to the last four after recording an 11-5 overall success against Moray Typhoons.

The Comets won 7-2 on home ice and followed up with a 4-3 victory in the reverse fixture.

Kirkcaldy Kestrels and Edinburgh Capitals are all-square after the first leg of their quarter-final tie.

Graeme Allan’s late goal sealed a 5-5 draw for the Kestrels to leave the return game finely poised.
