Manchester Storm have completed the signing of forward Ciaran Long.
The 26-year-old has spent the last few seasons in the EPL, most recently with Basingstoke Bison, and becomes the third Brit on the roster alongside Paul Swindlehurst and Declan Balmer.
Storm boss Ryan Finnerty said: “Ciaran comes here with good recommendations and reports and we’re delighted to bring him to Manchester Storm.
“He’s played a lot of games in the English Premier League and I know he’s relishing the challenge that awaits him in the Elite League.
“He’s also a former Manchester Phoenix player so knows the city well and I believe he’ll fit right in with the rest of the team.
“I’m delighted to welcome Ciaran to the club and look forward to seeing what he can do with this team in the coming season.”
