Canadian forward Shane Bakker is the latest addition to Manchester Storm’s roster.
The 29-year-old has made over 200 appearances in the ECHL over the past four seasons, icing most recently with Atlanta Gladiators. He has also played 28 games in the AHL during that period.
Storm boss Ryan Finnerty said: “We looked at a number of different options for this last spot up front, but I always came back to Shane.
“He’s a big centre man, who is great defensively and on the penalty kill.
“Shane’s a leader and a guy who is very popular with his teammates, as he’s known as a guy who will do anything for them.
“I’m very excited to work with him this season.”
