PPG Paints

PPG Paints Arena opened in 2010, replacing the classic Igloo barn that the Pittsburgh Penguins played in over the years. PPG Paints Arena is a beautiful modern facility with great facilities, excellent visibility and excellent concessions. Outside you will find a statue of Penguins legend Mario Lemieux, which is a tribute to one of the greatest players ever. Centrally located, the arena is within walking distance of local attractions and restaurants, including the famous Primanti Bros.

Rogers Place

Rogers Place is one of the newest arenas in the NHL, opening for the 2016/17 season. Located in downtown Edmonton, this building is more than just an NHL arena. The ownership group has created an entire ‘ICE District’, which is a neighbourhood in which Rogers Place is built, and includes many shops and restaurants, as well as a casino. Inside the stadium is a very modern and well-built arena, with many concessions and local restaurants. The stadium will only go up in the rankings when the ICE area is further developed.

United Center

United Center, the home stadium of the Chicago Blackhawks, is one of the most iconic buildings in North American sports. “United Center is also the largest arena in the United States by area and seats up to 19,717 fans, which is the second largest capacity in the NHL. The national anthem sung in the arena will give you goosebumps and the players call it one of the most amazing spectacles in the entire league. Although the United Center is close to downtown, the arena is easily accessible by Chicago transit.

Bridgestone Arena

Nashville has firmly established itself as a hockey town in recent years. The arena is in an almost perfect location, right on Broadway, a famous strip with incredible country bars and live music. If you haven’t been to Madison Square Garden yet, be sure to visit in the coming years, it won’t disappoint you. “The most famous arena in the world” has the best location of any NHL venue, it’s in the heart of Manhattan with plenty of local attractions and restaurants you can visit before a New York Rangers game.

Bell Centre

The Bell Centre has it all: a good location, a rich history and an unforgettable atmosphere. At a Montreal Canadiens home game, the atmosphere is the best in the NHL. Pre-game performances and national anthems will give you goosebumps. Whichever night you come to the Bell Centre, the atmosphere will be amazing, but Saturday night is like no other! When the home team scores a goal, one of the most recognisable goal buzzes in all of hockey is heard. The Bell Centre remains the best NHL arena you must visit.
