Bracknell Bees’ forward Carl Thompson has agreed another season with the club.

Thompson progressed through the Slough junior system, going on to make his EPL debut with the Jets in 2005.

He joined Bracknell Hornets in NIHL1 South in 2012/13, before stepping up to the Bees’ roster last season.

Player/Coach Lukas Smital said: “I’m very happy to have secured Carl’s re-signing for this coming season.

“Although still young, he is a level-headed player with experience beyond his years.

“Carl is a gritty and hardworking forward who knows where the net is but also puts the team first and for those reasons I believe he will be a solid addition to the British core of our squad this league campaign.”
