Glasgow’s Braehead Clan head coach John Tripp has today expressed his disappointment at only picking up one point over the weekend.
The Clan lost 1-4 on home ice to the Sheffield Steelers on Friday, before losing in 4-3 in overtime on Saturday to the Coventry Blaze.
“It wasn’t a strong weekend for us at all” said Tripp. “Our next four games are very tough against Guildford, Cardiff (twice) and Sheffield.
“We have to find points from those games, we have to keep going and we’re positive we are going in the right direction.
“It was disappointing to be the team that Coventry came out of their losing streak against, but if you don’t turn up, work hard and play every single shift you’re not going to come out on top.
“Our focus now turns to Saturday and the visit of Guildford. They are going well right now and have been one of the league’s surprise packages.”
