Whitley Warriors still lead NIHL North Moralee D1 after a hard fought victory at home to Sutton Sting.

The teams were tied at 3-3 entering the final two minutes, but goals by David Longstaff (above) and Harry Harley sealed a 5-3 success.

Blackburn Hawks enjoyed a four-point weekend, winning 8-2 at Sheffield Senators and 9-0 on home ice against Sheffield Spartans.

Billingham Stars suffered double disappointment, losing 6-4 at Spartans and 3-2 at home to Telford Tigers NIHL. Solihull Barons fell 4-2 at Sutton.

Nottingham Lions moved to the top of Laidler D2 after two impressive performances. Dan Hazeldine hit a hat-trick in their 7-2 win at Deeside Dragons and they followed up with a 6-3 home victory against Altrincham Aces. Fraser Kerr (3) led the way for Coventry Blaze as they sealed a 10-2 win at home to Bradford Bulldogs.

Streatham Redskins remain top of NIHL1 South after a weekend of mixed fortunes. Two goals each for Arran Strawson & Eriks Ozollapa condemned Redskins to a 4-3 defeat at home to Invicta Dynamos, but they resumed winning ways with a 10-2 home success against Bracknell Hornets.

Ben Paynter scored twice for Wightlink Raiders in their 4-1 win at home to Cardiff Devils NIHL. Oxford City Stars came from 4-2 down to win 5-4 on home ice against Solent Devils. MK Thunder won 6-2 at home to London Raiders.

Chelmsford Chieftains picked up a pair of cup victories against Invicta, winning 4-2 on the road in the SE Trophy and 11-0 at home in the D1 Cup.

Cardiff Fire opened their D2S campaign with a 3-0 win at Basingstoke Buffalo. Chelmsford Warriors cruised to a 14-0 home victory against Invicta Mustangs. Slough Jets won 5-2 at Lee Valley Lions and Swindon Wildcats NIHL eased to an 8-3 success at Wightlink Tigers.

Haringey Racers secured their first win of the season with a 6-1 D2 Cup victory at home to the Jets. Bristol Pitbulls won 7-1 on home ice against the Wildcats.

MK Lightning are the new leaders of the EPL. Lightning began the week with a 5-2 win at Swindon Wildcats, before securing a 4-3 overtime success on home ice against Peterborough Phantoms. They missed the chance to add a third victory after falling 4-1 at Guildford Flames.

Phantoms moved level on points with Lightning after a 6-1 home win against Swindon. Tomas Karpov was in sparkling form for Basingstoke Bison, scoring twice in their 6-4 win at home to Telford Tigers before claiming a hat-trick in a 4-3 victory at Manchester Phoenix.

Swindon picked up two points with a 3-2 overtime success at Hull Pirates. Tom Squires and Arnoldas Bosas both scored twice as Sheffield Steeldogs won 4-2 on home ice against the Pirates.

Joe Miller’s late strike sealed a 3-2 win for Telford at home to Bracknell Bees. The defeat completed a miserable weekend for the Bees who also slipped to a 4-2 home defeat to Phoenix.

Sheffield Steelers maintained their 100% Elite League record with a pair of home wins against Belfast Giants. Mathieu Roy scored twice in a 6-1 success, while Tyler Mosienko matched the feat in a 2-1 victory.

Cardiff Devils also picked up four points on home ice, winning 3-2 against Dundee Stars and 4-0 against Edinburgh Capitals. Justin Fox hit the decider for Fife Flyers as they claimed a 5-4 shoot-out success at home to Manchester Storm. Braehead Clan lost 6-2 at Edinburgh, but bounced back with a 1-0 overtime victory at Coventry Blaze.

In the Elite Challenge Cup, Nottingham Panthers won 6-2 at home to Coventry and 4-2 at Manchester. Dundee secured a 2-1 home success against Fife.
