Nottingham Panthers have announced that Swedish forward William Quist has left the club.
Nottingham recently announced the signing of Canadian AHL player Ryan Horvat, whilst Quist will leave the side and return to Sweden after ‘failing to settle in Nottingham’.
The club said: “Six feet five Swedish forward William Quist is heading home to Sweden after failing to settle in Nottingham this season.
“The Nybro-native spent his professional career in his home country before a year in Denmark last season and then a move to Panthers.
“The 30-year-old spoke to Director of Hockey Gui Doucet about his wishes to return to his homeland and the club wishes him well and thanks him for his efforts this year.”
