Bentivoglio back as Devils keep building

Canadian forward Sean Bentivoglio has agreed a second season with Elite League champions Cardiff Devils.

The 31-year-old joined the Devils from Italian side Asiago last summer and went on to score 20 goals with 39 assists in 63 games.

Cardiff boss Andrew Lord said: “Last season Benti formed a superb partnership with line-mate Joey Martin for the second half of the season and together they were a dominant force.

“He is a dynamic player with great playmaking ability as well as an excellent scoring touch. But above all else, he is a great team player with loads of character and he is a proven winner.”
