Great Britain goalie Ben Bowns is back for another season with Cardiff Devils.
Bowns back-stopped Cardiff to their first-ever Elite League title in 2016/17 and was chosen as the EIHL’s Netminder of the Year for the second time in a row.
Despite his successes Bowns believes he can still improve.
“I didn’t think I had a good first half and I know I can be better over the course of the season,” he said.
“We had a great year, but we are now used to winning and want to do more of it. That play-off loss still hurts and I would love to be able to win a play-off title with the Devils.
“There is no club I want to play for in the UK besides Cardiff. This team, the management, the coach, the owners have looked after me and helped me improve as a player.
“Wales is home to us and we are very happy here.”
