British duo face tough CHL openers

The Champions Hockey League has released its schedule for the 2017/18 Group Stage, with Cardiff Devils and Nottingham Panthers both facing tough opening games.

Cardiff visit Davos in Switzerland before travelling to Liberec in the Czech Republic, while Nottingham also head to the same two countries to face SC Bern and Mountfield HK.

This year’s competition features eight groups of four teams, with the top two qualifying for the knockout stages.

Mountfield HK v Nottingham Panthers

Saturday 2nd September:

Nottingham Panthers v SC Bern

Nottingham Panthers v TPS Turku
