Manchester Storm have reassigned 17-year-old wonderkid Connor Lee to Penticton Vees in the British Columbia Hockey League.
Lee made history with the Storm in 2023, becoming their first academy product to sign a professional contract.
Since making his professional debut at 16, the Manchester-born forward has made 60 Elite League appearances, as well as a further 17 in the EIHL Cup.
He attained further senior ice hockey experience during the 2023/24 campaign when he played 17 times for the Telford Tigers in the NIHL.
The exciting youngster has also represented Great Britain at both U18 and U20 levels, most recently featuring for Team GB at the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship in Croatia.
Lee joins a Penticton Vees side who have dominated the Interior East conference in Canada’s BCHL.
In 34 games this season, the Vees have picked up a league-best 26 wins.
On the acquisition of Connor Lee, Penticton Vees head coach Fred Harbinson said: “Despite his age, Lee has played at the pro level the past two seasons. His speed and hockey sense will definitely enhance our group.”
