
Cardiff Devils secured their first-ever Elite League title courtesy of an impressive 6-2 victory at Sheffield Steelers on Saturday.
The Devils celebrated in style the following evening with a 6-1 home win over Fife Flyers.
Belfast Giants had a mixed weekend on home ice, losing 5-2 to Sheffield before bouncing back to win 5-2 against Coventry Blaze.
Nottingham Panthers enjoyed a successful road trip to Scotland, winning 4-1 at Dundee Stars and 3-2 at Edinburgh Capitals. The Panthers made it a six point weekend with a 4-3 success at Edinburgh.
Braehead Clan lost 3-1 at Fife, but they recovered to record a 5-4 overtime win at Coventry – Matt Beca grabbed the winner.
Kevin Bruijsten bagged a hat-trick for Dundee in their 6-3 victory at Manchester Storm.
