
Basingstoke Bison secured their place in the EPL play-off semi-finals after successfully negotiating the final round of group stage fixtures.
Joe Miller scored twice in Bison’s 3-2 home win against MK Lightning, while Tomas Karpov (above) matched the feat in their 7-3 success at Swindon Wildcats.
Telford Tigers progressed to a last four meeting with Basingstoke despite a mixed weekend of results.
The Tigers lost 5-2 at Peterborough Phantoms, before sealing their place at Coventry with an 8-0 win at home to Sheffield – Doug Clarkson (4) topped the scoring against the Steeldogs.
Guildford are also through after picking up a pair of wins. The Flames triumphed 2-1 at Sheffield and followed up with a 5-2 home success against Peterborough.
Lewis Hook’s hat-trick was the highlight of MK Lightning’s home victory over Hull Pirates. Pete Russell’s team will face Guildford in the semi-final.
Hull’s 6-5 overtime loss at home to Swindon saw them end their play-off campaign without a victory during the group stage.
