Basingstoke Bison need two wins from their final four games to clinch this year’s EPL title after a comfortable home victory against Hull Pirates.

Declan Balmer (3) and Alan Lack (2) topped Bison’s scoring in their 10-0 success.

Guildford Flames lost 3-2 after overtime at Swindon Wildcats, but they bounced back on home ice with a 6-3 win against the Pirates.

Milan Baranyk (2) led the scoring for Peterborough Phantoms in their 5-2 victory at Sheffield Steeldogs, and Slava Koulikov’s team made it a four-point weekend with a 5-4 home success over the Wildcats.

Telford Tigers also picked up four points, winning 3-2 after overtime at Manchester Phoenix and 4-2 at home to the Steeldogs.

Bobby Chamberlain and Adam Carr both scored twice for MK Lightning as they triumphed 7-0 on home ice against Bracknell.

The Bees completed a miserable weekend as they fell 7-4 at home to Phoenix – Robin Kovar hit a hat-trick for the visitors.
