Tomasz Malasinski was the star of the show as Swindon Wildcats defeated reigning EPL champions Basingstoke Bison on Tuesday.

Basingstoke had recorded a 3-2 home victory over Swindon on Boxing Day, but the Wildcats gained their revenge in style the following day as Malasinski’s hat-trick helped them to a 3-1 success.

Doug Clarkson (3) topped the scoring for Telford Tigers as they eased to a 10-1 victory at Manchester Phoenix.

MK Lightning lost 3-2 at home to Peterborough Phantoms, but bounced back to seal a 5-0 win in the reverse fixture.

Ben Campbell scored twice for Guildford Flames in their 4-2 success at Bracknell, and he repeated the feat during a 7-0 victory over the Bees in the return game.

Andrej Themar (2) led the way for Hull Pirates as they secured an 8-4 home victory over Sheffield Steeldogs.
