Telford Tigers moved nine points clear at the top of the EPL after picking up a pair of victories.

Milan Kolena (3) led the way in the Tigers’ 8-2 success at Swindon Wildcats, while Jason Silverthorn (2) topped the scoring in their 6-2 home win against Bracknell Bees.

MK Lightning’s title hopes were dealt a blow as they fell 3-2 at home to Peterborough Phantoms – Edgars Bebris, James Archer and Wehebe Darge scored for the visitors.

The Phantoms made it a four-point weekend with a 4-1 home victory over Basingstoke Bison – Ales Padelek (2) was amongst the scorers.

Ciaran Long, Tomas Karpov and Rene Jarolin all scored twice in Basingstoke’s 6-1 win on home ice against Hull Pirates.

Jens Eriksson grabbed the winner as Guildford Flames won 3-2 after a shoot-out at home to Sheffield Steeldogs and he followed up with two more goals in a 7-4 success at Hull.

Manchester Phoenix had another disappointing weekend, losing 7-1 at Sheffield, 5-1 at Bracknell and 11-3 at home to Swindon.
