Telford Tigers picked up two wins from their weekend double-header against MK Lightning to move six points clear at the top of the EPL.

Corey McEwen’s second goal of the game secured a 2-1 overtime success at Milton Keynes, and he bagged two more in Tigers’ 6-3 victory on home ice.

Hull Pirates maintained their 100% home record with a 4-1 win against Bracknell Bees – Andrej Themar (2) led the scoring.

Tuomas Santavuori and Jens Eriksson were on target for Guildford in their 2-0 success at Basingstoke Bison, but Flames failed to follow up on home ice as they fell 1-0 to Sheffield Steeldogs.

Peterborough Phantoms secured a four-point weekend, winning 4-2 at home to Swindon Wildcats and 6-1 at Manchester Phoenix.

That result completed a miserable weekend for Manchester who also lost 3-2 at Bracknell.
