Telford Tigers moved to the top of the EPL on goal difference after recording a three-point weekend.

Michal Satek (above) scored twice for the Tigers in their 4-2 home win against Manchester Phoenix, but Petr Stepanek’s goal ensured they collected just a single point at Peterborough Phantoms after a 4-3 shoot-out reverse.

MK Lightning lost their unbeaten record courtesy of a 4-1 home defeat against Guildford Flames – Marek Maslonka hit a hat-trick for the visitors.

Lightning bounced back with 3-2 win at Bracknell Bees – Craig Scott scored the winner.

Ben Campbell (2) topped the scoring for Flames as they added two more points with a 6-3 home success over Hull Pirates.

Dominic Osman’s improving team didn’t end the weekend empty-handed after picking up a 3-0 home win against Peterborough.

Swindon Wildcats enjoyed a four-point weekend, winning 6-2 at home to Bracknell before sealing a 5-1 road victory against Manchester.

Basingstoke Bison won 3-0 at home to Sheffield Steeldogs and followed up with a 5-4 success in the reverse fixture.
