Peterborough Phantoms moved five points clear at the top of the EPL after picking up a pair of wins.

Craig Scott (2) led the scoring in a 6-2 home win against Guildford Flames, while Will Weldon grabbed the shoot-out decider in their 3-2 victory at Manchester Phoenix.

Guildford bounced back on home ice with a 6-3 win against Sheffield Steeldogs – Ben Campbell weighed in with a couple of goals.

Basingstoke Bison had a mixed weekend on the road, losing 6-3 at Sheffield before recovering to record a 4-0 success at Bracknell Bees.

Peter Szabo hit a hat-trick Telford in their 7-3 home win against Bracknell, and Tigers followed up with a 3-0 victory at Hull Pirates.

MK Lightning slipped to a disappointing 6-4 defeat at home to Hull.
