Great Britain international forward Sean Norris has joined Planet Ice NIHL National Division leaders MK Lightning on a deal until the end of the season.
Norris’ departure from the Elite League Flames was confirmed earlier this month.
He played 20 games in all competitions for the club, scoring once and adding a further assist.
Back in familiar surroundings
Norris returns to Milton Keynes for a second spell, having featured previously during the 2021/22 season.
He tallied 31 goals and 37 assists in 43 league games for the club, earning a two-way deal with the Elite League.
Norris went on to contribute to Belfast Giants’ treble-winning season in 2022/23, before playing 54 times during the 2023/24 campaign.
He left the Giants to join Guildford in May, but will now make the move to the National Ice Hockey League.
“I am very excited to get Sean back in Milton Keynes,” said Lightning head coach Tim Wallace.
“Sean is a dynamic player that has the attitude to do what it takes to improve and push himself on and off the ice.
“He will step in and play a big role right away.”
“It was a no-brainer to come back”
On his return to Milton Keynes, Norris told the club: “I love it here. It was a no-brainer to come back.
“To come back and hear the cheer that I got when I came on was a very homely feeling.”
