Manchester Storm have announced the signing of forward Henrik Samuelsson for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
Samuelsson, 25, is a former NHL draftee and will fly to Manchester this week to link up with his new club.
He was a 2012 NHL draft pick, being selected in round 1 at #27 overall by Phoenix Coyotes (Arizona Coyotes) and is son of two-time Stanley Cup Champion and 1982 NHL Draft Pick, Ulf Samuelsson.
“We welcome Henrik who’s a big right shot C/RW with a great resume,” said head coach Ryan Finnerty.
“I’m sure our fans will make him feel welcomed come Saturday.”
Manchester Storm have also announced that Mario Puskarich has left the club.
Samuelsson could make his debut this weekend as Storm host Cardiff Devils.
