Cardiff Devils’ boss Andrew Lord has added Craig Moore to his squad.

Moore has spent the last two seasons with Dundee Stars playing both forward and defence. Prior to joining Dundee, he played two seasons in the Western States Hockey League for the Ogden Mustangs.

Lord said: “He’s a guy that is going to challenge himself every day to get better and better.

“Craig is comfortable playing forward and defence and I think he’s going to come in and challenge some of the older guys for more minutes and I also think he’s going to be a real vocal guy, which is something we need more of.

“There are a lot of under 23 Brits, but there aren’t enough that are ready to play at this level.

“That’s why we identified Craig right away and went after him as soon as the season was over. He can step in and contribute right away and I’m pumped to have him here in Cardiff next season.”
