MK Lightning maintained their 100% record in the EPL with their second successive four-point weekend.

Mikolaj Lopuski (above) scored twice in their 4-1 home win against Peterborough Phantoms and Lewis Hook matched the feat during a 3-1 success at Manchester Phoenix.

Hull Pirates also remain unbeaten after recording two victories. Andrej Themar hit a hat-trick in Pirates’ 5-4 win at Sheffield Steeldogs and he followed up with two more in a 4-2 home win over Swindon Wildcats.

Telford Tigers complete a trio of teams yet to taste defeat after winning 6-2 at Guildford Flames and 5-4 on home ice against the Steeldogs.

Ben Campbell (3) topped the scoring for the Flames as they bounced back with an 8-4 road win against Bracknell Bees.

That result completed a miserable weekend for the Bees who also lost 8-1 at Basingstoke Bison. The reigning champions failed to add a second win after falling 2-1 away to the Phantoms.

Tomasz Malasinski (2) led the way for the Wildcats in their 5-2 home victory against the Phoenix.
