Manchester Phoenix have confirmed two more returnees to their roster, with Robin Kovar and James Neil agreeing another season with the club.

Forward Kovar has scored over 100 goals during his three years with Phoenix, while ‘D’ man Neil has played nearly 400 games for the Manchester club during the past seven seasons.

Kovar said: “It’s great to be back in Manchester and playing in the city.

“Last year was a difficult time for the club with playing in Deeside and our bad injury situation. I’m really looking forward to playing in the new rink and for our great fans.”

Neil added: “Phoenix is the only team I want to play for. I love the organisation and the fans.

“Both have been very good to me. It should be a great experience next year, back in Manchester with Phoenix.”

Phoenix recently announced exciting plans about their new home and with preparations for the new EPL season gathering pace, Head Coach Tony Hand says he’s delighted to have Kovar and Neil back on board.

“These are two good signings for us and they will give us the experience we need at the back and up front,” he said.

“Both know the league well and will do a great job for us.”
